CI Pipelines That Humans Actually Roll Back
Automation without narration is just faster failure. Here is the rollback story we rehearse in Deployment & Observability Studio.
Green builds can still ship broken experiences — especially when tests assert implementation details instead of customer journeys. We teach teams to attach a human-readable rollback statement to every production promotion: what changes, what telemetry to watch, and who is on point for the first thirty minutes.
Students wire GitHub Actions with manual approval gates for high-risk weeks, but they also draft Slack templates for partial outages. The goal is muscle memory: when metrics wobble, nobody improvises permissions or secrets under stress.
We deliberately run a tabletop incident with ambiguous logs so cohorts practise turning structured queries into a timeline stakeholders trust. It is uncomfortable and saves far more time than another flaky end-to-end test nobody owns.
